冷凌棄

電視劇《少年四大名捕》改編自溫瑞安創作的「四大名捕」小說系列作品，內容集古裝、懸疑、查案、武打於一身，劇中的四位「捕快」皆是當年（2008年）無綫電視力捧的一線小生，包括林峯、吳卓羲、馬國明及陳鍵鋒。由吳卓羲飾演四大名捕中的四師弟冷凌棄，又名冷血，人如其名，予人冷酷感覺。冷血身世悲慘，因為父母身故而成為遺孤，在森林被狼群相救及養大，後來被諸葛先生（諸葛正我）發現及收養，並收他為徒。

冷血長大後擁有野獸般的敏銳直覺且身手敏捷，武功高強，善劍法，其「四十九路無名劍」以一劍封喉絕技聞名，他加入神捕司前是一名殺手。電視劇裏，四大名捕為民請命、破案無數。其後，冷血救駕有功，獲冊封為大宋御前神捕。
 

原著的冷凌棄外貌特徵是綠髮碧眼，無綫電視當年找來濃眉大眼的吳卓羲演出這個角色，讓冷血添上一分型男魅力。
 

小彩蛋：原著小說裏，冷血的劍法以快、狠、準見稱，令對手無所適從，每每對準敵人咽喉而刺出。他十六歲時已屢建奇功，追緝要犯從未失手。十九歲時更加單人匹馬闖入森林，追殺十三名巨盜，把對手一一殺死，甚至武功比他高強的首腦也死於他的劍下。 

The television drama The Four is adapted from Woon Swee Oan’s novel The Four Great Constables, which combines elements of ancient costumes, suspense, case investigation, and martial arts. All four “constables” in the television drama were played by A-list actors whom TVB strongly promoted in 2008, including Raymond Lam Fung, Ron Ng Cheuk-hei, Kenneth Ma Kwok-ming and Sammul Chan Kin-fung. Ron Ng Cheuk-hei played the youngest junior in the four great constables, Leng Lingqi, also known as Cold Blood. As his name suggests, Cold Blood looks a bit cold-hearted. Cold Blood had a miserable start of his life. As an orphan with both his parents passed away, he was saved and raised by a pack of wolves in the forest. He was later found and adopted by Mr Zhuge (Zhuge Zhengwo) and became an apprentice of him.

As Cold Blood grew up, he possessed keen beast-like intuition and agile skills. He mastered superb martial arts skills and was talented in wielding swords. His swordplay “49 Unknown Sword Movements” was famous for its ability to kill enemies in just one move. Before joining the Divine Constabulary, he was a killer. In the television drama, the four great constables pleaded for the people and solved countless cases. In the end, Cold Blood made meritorious contributions in rescuing the emperor and was conferred the title of “Imperial Constable of the Great Song”.
 

Leng Lingqi in the original novel has green hair and blue eyes. TVB invited Ron Ng Cheuk-hei, who has big eyes and bushy eyebrows, to play this character, adding a touch of masculine charm to Cold Blood.
 

Bonus: In the novel, the swordplay of Cold Blood which aims directly at enemies’ throats is known for its speed, ferocity and accuracy that spare his enemies no time to react. At the age of sixteen, he had constantly made remarkable achievements and never failed to hunt down key criminals. At the age of nineteen, he even went after thirteen bandits in the forest alone. In the end, he killed the bandits one by one, even their leader who had stronger martial arts skills than him.
